These Hemp Trays are made from the baste fibres around the plant. Soft hemp matting is blended with a bio-resin made from farm-waste, including oat hull sand corncob.
Hemp has a huge eco value over traditional materials such as plastic, with extremely high carbon sequestration. The natural cellulose content, 60-70% of the plant, makes it a great plastic alternative.
Due to the nature of the product, items might vary slightly in colour or appearance, which we hope you see as an advantage rather than a vice!
How to recycle: The product is 100% plant based and decompose without leaving traces when left in nature.
