The opaline vase range is handblown using a mixture of glass sludge - a by-product from local glass production and approximately 1kg of animal bones sourced from an organic farm based just outside Berlin.
Each vase is unique and its translucence can vary from one object to another.
The bone glass range is the design studio response to the issue of slaughter waste. It demonstrates the significant opportunities to replace finite, natural resources with waste with no value to anyone else.
