"Contemporary Ruins" is a contemporary range made from perfectly good and usable materials yet wasted by the construction industry.
Designed by the award-winning Spanish architect and designer Irene Roca Moracia, this limited edition aims to highlight the issue of resource overuse, overproduction and unnecessary waste caused by negligence, stringent regulations and approach to building despite changing needs of users. It represents another example how sustainability is perceived and dictated by logistical and purely financial decisions.
How to recycle: The object is made from construction waste and is therefore non degradable.
