The Spring/Summer 2024 issue of Crafts is a testament to the vital importance of creative practice in giving us purpose and shaping our collective futures. As the UK hurtles towards a general election, we argue that craft in all its forms is fundamental for the country, while the makers we meet across the magazine – who hail from around the world – show us what it means for them personally.
Crafts magazine brings together a dynamic global community of makers, curators, collectors, thinkers and cultural influencers pushing the boundaries of making. If you share our belief in the transformational potential of craft, you won’t want to miss Crafts in print.
Published bi-monthly by the Crafts Council since its inception in 1973, Crafts has now pivoted to a biannual publishing schedule. The shift recognises the environmental cost of printing and packaging and means it can continue to be printed while reducing its environmental footprint.
