This soap is formulated to provide a gentle cleansing of the hands based on the unique properties of linseed oil. Flax (Linum Ussitatissimum) is a crop with a long heritage in the coastal regions of Europe and is harvested late summer. As one of the most sustainable crops flax is used for its lustrous fibre in textiles and its rich seed that finds manifolds of applications in food, craft and industry. Linseed oil-based soaps have a wide range of cleansing and nourishing properties until their use declined and almost vanished in the 20th Century. This pure and natural soap is fully biodegradable and sustains a local and respectful production.
Beautifully crafted, we trust you’ll enjoy the bottle and opt to reuse it time and again. To encourage this practice, we now offer refills. While currently limited to refilling bottles, we're working towards offering sustainable refill soap bags for our customers further afield in the near future.
